In Rochester and as I traveled cross-country, it would not be uncommon to see me on top of my three foot wooden ladder looking at the sujbect I was photographing. I was looking for a sense of order that could fit into the rectangle of my camera . . .

Kodak stopped making Kodalith paper in 1977. The photographs in this series were created over a period of ten years, between 1970 and 1980.
